Eastex Materials Exchange

Eastex is a free online service for businesses, organisations and schools to help keep reuseable items in circulation and out of landfill. It works on the concept that one organisations waste is another's resource. The online forum at www.eastex.org.uk allows members to place adverts for items and material that they have available and would like to pass or sell on, or, for those that need to source.

This free service allows you to pass on or source items from anywhere in the Region, decrease waste disposal costs and improve your environmental performance through demonstrating that you are resource aware. Eastex offers advice on reuse, free reuse site audits and subsidised waste awareness training. Eastex is an East of England project funded by EEDA through the Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (BREW) programme, the Environment Agency and District and County Councils. In Suffolk, Eastex also receives support from Business Link East and the Federation of Small Businesses.
